Patterns & Natural Colours of Africa (PANCA) is aiming at celebrating the African clothing tradition and promoting the economical and cultural strength of a phenomenon that involves almost the whole world (cloths manufacturers) and still remains a specific identity of Africans (Wrapper cloths). Highlights: A part from the exhibition of cloths, textiles and fashion, (The exhibition site offers a total exhibition capacity of 8.000 square meters.), PANCA 2008 will be a ten day fiesta with a set of attractions including opening and closing ceremonies, thematic conferences and meetings (on cloths design protection), musical concerts, fashions shows, an award ceremony, a special wrapper cloth day (15th February), tour programmes and many more.
Visitor's Profile:
Anticipated visitors include professionals in the textile sector, wholesalers. The Lome principal market attracts wholesaler clients from La Cote d縄voire, Cameroon, RD Congo, Congo Brazzaville and Gabon. Other visitors are retailers, the general public from Togo and neighbouring countries (Lome is just 3 hours ride from Cotonou the capital city of Benin and from Accra, the capital city of Ghana).

Anticipated exhibitors include cloth and textile producers, exporters and traders, Textile retailers from Togo and from the rest of Africa especially west and central Africa, handicraft textile producers, textile designers, fashion designers especially those who focus on using African cloths (Industrial and handicraft), raw material producers (such as cotton, and other fibbers), Machinery for the textile industry, Fashion and broidery accessories, Tie and dye products, etc.
